Custom Made to Order Hand Lettering Designs
Of the many design selections that CT Music Straps offers, custom lettering is available and whether penned directly on leather or hand carved as a tooled design, these calligraphy designs are made possible through the skills of our highly talented freelance Calligraphy Designer, Trish Taylor. Trish is the current president of the Capital City Scribes, calligraphy guild in Austin, Texas. She also serves upon request as our Senior Design Consultant available to assist in custom and embellished lettering selections. Her offerings include traditional crafted pen styles or original concepts that can be translated to a carved leather rendering in 3-D.
If your options include custom lettering, Trish contacts you, prepares and sends the proposed design draft via email, for your approval. Once approved, the custom design concept is then sent to the leather craftsman and the hand penned lettering design is transferred from paper on to leather and hand carved. In the case of smaller labels or logos, these are hand scribed by Trish using a high quality water-resistant, long wearing shellac on genuine leather. Currently the company label, designed by Trish and CT Strickland, includes personal lettering by Trish and is included on each strap we produce.
